Welcome to the official home of the Mo-tley Crue aka The N.O. Shaving. We are banding together to raise money for Movember. This year the proceeds from all money raised in New Zealand head to the NZ Cancer Society for programmes dealing with prostate cancer and testicular cancer and to Out of the Blue for their efforts into battling depression in men.

The Mo-tley Crue is here to put the FUN in fundraising with social events and networking to bring the brotherhood (and sisterhood of Movmember together). So please feel free to browse the site, sign up to become a Mo-Bro or Mo-Sista or support our team and mens health by donating to our team or any of the members!

    OK so we didn't raise the most, and we didn't have the most people but we did have the most fun. For those that attended the roller derby outings, the gala (and for those that can remember the gala) and of course the Mo-Hunt, it was a full on mo-experience.

    As a team we raised over $2000 which is fantastic and we will be back bigger and better than ever next year!Promise. Planning has already begun on next years Mo-Hunt and much more will be organised (emphasis on the actual organisation) next year! 0 comments Login to post a comment

    Congratulations to our teams and the fact that you all finished after battling through the long hot day, and the santa parade!

    The results are as follows;

    1. NANA - 152.5pts
    2. Team First Place - 133.5 pts
    3. Grey Power - 131 points
    4. Mo-tley Bunch - 98 points

    Teams have been kicked out of the Cock & Bull and have hit the streets. It is not a time based event so if you are reading this pop doen before 2 pm to enter and take on teh Mo-hunt challenge.

    We are kinda hi-jacking the Pirate City Rollers next match at SKATELAND. Can you say Roller Derby... yes thats right Girls on skates doing their darndest to beat each other up. Now this is more of a social event to get together and prove your clean shaveness to all and sundry, no excuses will be tolerated! There is an cash bar there and as after every derby its back to Thirsty Dog on K'Rd to carry on the festivities! whose on the rink? Dead Wreckoning VS Blackheart Bruisers

    Yes the culmination of a month of FUNdraising rears its slightly odd head, in the form of the MOVEMBER GALA! Tis all good and a chance for the Mo-Bros and Mo-Sistas to get down with their bad selfs! there are prizes galore and of course - the bar is always open! Venue has been confirmed - and is going to be held on the ASB Concourse at EDEN PARK!!!! - a place that has seen many a mo in its time!

    yes indeed its the peak of performance for the girls and the conditioning of the mo's will be top notch as the Mo-tley Crue take it by storm and enjoy the final bout for the year and see who are crowned queens of the rink.

  • The first ever Mo-Hunt 2008 When From: Sunday, 30 November at 12:00 PM To: Sunday, 30 November at 05:00 PM Where 414 Khyber Pass Road, Newmarket, Auckland (map)
    You may have seen a lot of facial hair appearing around town these last few weeks. The Mo-Bros have been out in force and we are happy to be helping out the Mo-tley Crue with their first annual Mo-Hunt. It's a scavenger hunt of sorts, taking place on the last day of Movember (Sunday 30th) at Newmarket Cock & Bull. The first clue is given at 12pm (midday) and will carry on till everyone's back safe and sound at the pub. The Mo-hunt will take you through some of the more iconic/ironic parts of the CBD. Teams of 4 will participate and the entry fee of $20 will be donated to Movember. If this sounds like a bit of you (and 3 friends) then head HERE to register!! We'll see you on the 30th!
